On Friday, June 22 both divisions 1 and 2 got to go to Dockside Green to present the banners we had created and painted. Here are some of the adventures we had. First, we had the opening ceremony of the Dockside Green banners that were really well done. Secondly we marched to the Organic Bakery to see the fiery and flaming brick oven. Lastly we walked back to school. It was a lovely trip and we all enjoyed ourselves.

We went to Dockside Green on Friday, June 22, 2007. Some stuff we all liked about Dockside are. I liked holding up the banner Alternative Transportation that had cars and other modes of transportation. It was a cool and huge event with media and newspaper people. I loved to eat those fresh cinnamon buns because they had a great taste. We walked fast to it and had a great time. We love Dockside Green.

On Friday June 22 we walked to Dockside Green to present the banners we painted. We had a great deal of fun. First, we meandered to Dockside Green. Second, we presented our banners, which we painted. Third, we had tasty and scrumptious Cinnamon Swirls that Clif, the organic baker who is very nice gave them generously to us. Fourth we went in groups of 10 to see the huge fire oven that Clif baked our cinnamon swirls in. Last, we walked back to school because the field trip was over.

On Friday, June 22nd the two grade 4 and 5 classes went to Dockside Green for a fun and yummy field trip because the people picked my school Victoria West to do banners. Banners which we pained so Dockside Green could attract people to live there because it’s an environmentally healthy place. Also we got cinnamon buns that where free from an organic bakery. Now that was cool to see the big and masculine stove thing that looked like a pizza maker but it was a wood burning oven that he cooked the cinnamon buns with. We ate the cinnamon buns fast and speedy. Do you want to help Dockside Green too? The Dockside Green experience was great it was the experience of a lifetime, if you are lucky enough you will have an experience like this too!

On Friday, June 22nd, 2007 divisions 1 and 2 went to Dockside Green. The adventures at Dockside Green were great. The baker, Clif, was nice enough to give all of us a free organic cinnamon roll and each a fee water bottle. We all enjoyed waking to Dockside and getting to know the natural environment. The groups of each banner got to hold it up for the presentation of the group. After that we got to put the banner on the fence. I wish I lived at Dockside because I like to help the environment around me.

On Friday, June 22, our class went to the Dockside Green. It was a building like a dock on the water. The building was built to conserve our environment. There were small trees, roses, daisies and other plants growing on the roof which helps clean the air and gives us oxygen. It ….the oxygen for us to breath. I wish that all the buildings in the world were like Dockside Green because it is cool and fun.
