Job Creation & Training During Construction
With the help of the Canadian Homebuilders Association in Victoria, we will determine the best possible strategies for facilitating job training and employment opportunities for those who need it most in the Capital Region. Our construction team will participate in various training programs for entry-level construction workers with particular emphasis on First Nations training. As well, we will require our construction firms to commit to hiring and training a percentage of employees that are new to the sector, opening up valuable employment opportunities for local unemployed and underemployed workers.
