Job Creation & Training During Construction
With the help of the Victoria Canadian Homebuilders Association, we have determined possible strategies for facilitating job training and employment opportunities for those who need it most in the Capital Region. Our construction team participates in various training programs for entry-level construction workers with particular emphasis on First Nations training. As well, we require our construction firms to commit to hiring and training a percentage of employees who are new to the sector, opening up valuable employment opportunities for local unemployed and underemployed workers.
